OpenStack Zed : Configure Trove (Network Node)2023/06/30

 
Install OpenStack Database Service (Trove).
This example is based on the environment like follows.
Install Trove services on Network Node.

[1] Install Trove services on Network Node.

apt -y install trove-api trove-conductor trove-taskmanager python3-troveclient nginx libnginx-mod-stream
[2] Configure Trove.

mv /etc/trove/trove.conf /etc/trove/trove.conf.org

vi /etc/trove/trove.conf

sed -i -e "s/inspect.getargspec/inspect.getfullargspec/" /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/trove/cmd/manage.py

[3] Get valid SSL/TLS certificate or Create self-signed certificate for Network Node and configure Nginx for proxy settings.
root@network:~#
unlink /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default

root@network:~#
vi /etc/nginx/nginx.conf
# add to the end

    upstream trove-api {
        server 127.0.0.1:8779;
    }

[4] Add Data into Database and start Trove services.

su -s /bin/bash trove -c "trove-manage db_sync"

systemctl restart trove-api trove-taskmanager trove-conductor nginx

root@network:~#
systemctl enable trove-api trove-taskmanager trove-conductor
[5] Verify Trove status on Control Node. That's OK if no error is shown.
