OpenStack Victoria : Configure Nova #32021/08/31

Install OpenStack Compute Service (Nova).

This example is based on the emvironment like follows.
If you'd like to install Nova Compute on another Host, refer to here.

[1]	Install KVM HyperVisor on Compute Host, refer to here. It's unnecessarry to set Bridge networking on the section [2] of the link.
[2]	Install Nova Compute.

apt -y install nova-compute nova-compute-kvm

# on Debian 11 default is set cgroup v2, however,

# specific feature does not work on Nova-Compute, so fall back to cgroup v1

[3]	In addition to basic settings of Nova, add following settings.

vi /etc/nova/nova.conf

# add follows (enable VNC)

novncproxy_base_url = http://10.0.0.30:6080/vnc_auto.html

vi /etc/default/nova-consoleproxy

[4]	Start Nova Compute service.

systemctl restart nova-compute nova-novncproxy

systemctl enable nova-compute nova-novncproxy

# discover Compute Node
